Candidates should possess An Associate of Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science, or other related technical fields; or equivalent experience is required.
Course work in the education field, or related work experience developing instructional materials is preferred.
Prior field service or technical writing experience is required.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good interpersonal communication and interviewing skills.
Good technical understanding of NetApp hardware and software products.
Basic understanding of related technologies.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Proficient in at least one graphics program.
Follow standard development processes and NetApp U procedures.
Follow the corporate style guide, Technical Publishing Guide, Chicago Manual of Style and department format guidelines.
Develop technical part replacement documentation for new and current products or update existing documents or learning objects and present for review.
Manage incoming tickets on reports of technical issues on action plans or training.
Work collaboratively with others and in a team environment
Develop or enhance technical content as required to maintain product accuracy, to cover product anomalies and exceptions. Initiate and engage in technical reviews.
Build and Maintain technical proficiency on NetApp hardware products.
Design or create new training strategies that meet the changing service engineer requirements.
Work as part of a team on larger projects, or complex deliverables
