Pawan Hans Limited, a premier Public Sector Undertaking and India’s largest helicopter company, operates and maintains a fleet of 43 state-of-the-art helicopters of different make/capacity, such as MI-172, Bell 206L4, Bell 407, Dauphin 365N/N3, AS350B3 & Dhruv Helicopters. For its emergent needs out of fluctuating contracts for helicopter services and to fulfill the short term and long term business commitments, Pawan Hans requires experienced, dynamic and result oriented professionals.

Post QRs Emoluments
Captain ‘A’ CHPL or ATPL (H) + 2550 hrs of helicopter flying including 1000 hrs as PIC Fixed emoluments – Rs. 60,000/-, Minimum assured STA for 35 hours – Rs. 65,625/- plus other allowances, as applicable.
Pilot ‘C’ CHPL or ATPL (H) + 2050 hrs of helicopter flying including 500 hrs as PIC Rs. 52,000/- p.m. Minimum assured STA for 35 hours – Rs. 65,625/- plus other allowances, as applicable.
Pilot ‘B’ CHPL or ATPL (H) + 1050 hrs of helicopter flying Rs. 46,000/- p.m.  Minimum assured STA for 35 hours – Rs. 65,625/- plus other allowances, as applicable.
Pilot ‘A’ CHPL or ATPL (H) Rs. 40,000/- p.m.  Minimum assured STA for 35 hours – Rs. 65,625/- plus other allowances, as applicable.

 Fresh Pilots: The selected Fresh Pilots holding current & valid Licence would be placed on probation for a period of three years.

Training and cost of Training – They would be required to undergo MCF / ground training at the sponsored / authorized institute or at manufacture’s place to be decided by the Management. After successful completion of said training, passing of DGCA exam or equivalent examination and conversion training with endorsement on type of helicopter being flown by Pawan Hans, they will undergo on the job flying training as qualified Co-Pilot for a period of 3 years. They will have to bear the entire cost of training including conversion training.

Emoluments During the period of MCF (Machine Conversion Familiarization) till passing of DGCA exam, a stipend of Rs.15,000/- (Rupees fifteen thousand only) will be paid and on conversion and endorsement on the licence, they will be paid a fixed monthly emoluments of Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only) during 1st year; Rs. 60,000/- (Rupees sixty thousand) during 2nd year and Rs. 75,000/- (Rupees seventy five thousand only) during 3rd year respectively. The above fixed emoluments will be inclusive of all allowances. TA/DA shall be paid additionally, as applicable, to the Pilot-A level of contractual employment as per rules of the Company.

Service Agreement Bond At the time of joining for MCF, they will be required to execute a Bond of Rs.25,50,000/- (Rupees twenty five lacs and fifty thousand only) along with two sureties to undertake MCF, pass DGCA Exam., undergo conversion training and thereafter serve the Company for a period of 10 (ten) years. They are required to abide by any other terms and conditions including condition of giving fixed deposit in favour of the pilot with lien with Pawan Hans for a suitable amount that would be decided for the contractual pilots from time to time.

In case they fail to pass the DGCA exam or equivalent exam within a period of six months, their appointment shall be terminated with immediate effect without any notice period.

Selection Procedure :

Written Test on 04/02/2016

Shortlisted candidates will undertake face to face interview.

The Management reserves the right to interview only those candidates who according to its decision rank high in term of eligibility criteria among the applicants and mere eligibility will not entitle any candidates for being interviewed.
