HELICOPTER PILOTS – for Mi-172 Helicopter (on contract basis)
Captain-A: Holding ATPL (H) with 2550 hrs on Helicopters including 1000 hrs as PIC on helicopters. Having endorsement on Mi-172 helicopter, current on type and IR endorsement.
Preference will be given to pilots holding current endorsement on Mi-172 and having flying experience in off-shore and hill / high altitude flying on helicopters.

Practical On the Job Training for Students-unpaid

Pawan Hans Helicopters Limited a Miniratna-I is a leading Central Public Sector Helicopter
Company involved in providing helicopter services to the Petroleum Sector, linking inaccessible

areas of the country and operating charters for promotion of tourism. It has fleet of 45
Helicopters consisting of Bell 206 L4, Bell 407, Dauphin SA365N, Dauphin SA365N3, Mi-172,
Dhruv and B3. Pawan Hans also has an approved Maintenance Centre to carry out
maintenance of Dauphin series of Helicopters. The Corporate Office is located at New Delhi and
Regional Offices at Delhi and Mumbai with a network of various detachments spread all over
the country.

Pawan Hans wishes to provide an opportunity to the students of your Institute to undergo a
structured practical training On the Job Training (OJT) at Mumbai & New Delhi. The training
is arranged as per requirements so as to facilitate students to acquire comprehensive
experience in our own workshop and maintenance facilities.

The intake of students would be twice a year of six months duration for On the Job Training
(OJT) i.e. one batch would commence from February and the other from August of every year.
The selection of students would be made after receipt of nomination by your institute. The fee
for undergoing on the job practical training would be Rs. 50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only)
+ service tax i.e. 12.36% (Rs.6180/-), per student to meet the cost of practical training (total
amount comes to Rs.56,180/- (Rupees Fifty six thousand and one hundred eighty only).
Further, in case, a student wishes to have single bachelor accommodation at Mumbai subject
to availability, he/she will have to pay additional Rs. 12,500/- (Rupees twelve thousand five
hundred only) for the same. While sponsoring candidates for On the Job training, fee as
mentioned above will have to be paid a Demand Draft in favour of Pawan Hans Helicopters
Limited payable at New Delhi before the start of OJT. Further, training will be exclusively at
the risk of students and the company shall not own any obligation whatsoever and these
students will not be offered employment in the company.

The institution approved by Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) may send the names of
students along with their brief resumes and passport size photographs who are appearing for
the final year of AME examination and also students may forward their request directly who
are appearing for the final year AME examination in terms of the said conditions for
