Experience and Job Description Minimum 14 years (as on 31.10.2014) of post – qualification experience with 10 years at senior level position with adequate experience in Finance & Accounts in any government/ Public Sector/ Autonomous body.

 

–      For those working in PSUs/ Govt., minimum two years of experience in the pay scale of ` 43,200- 66,000 (I.D.A) or its equivalent grade as on 31.10.2014.            (Relevant grade- equivalency documents must be enclosed)

 

The condition of minimum 14 years of experience will not be applicable to candidates presently working in the pay scale of ` 51,300-73,000 (IDA) or its equivalent CDA scale of pay in any CPSE. However, they must possess relevant post-qualification experience.

 

The incumbent shall be overall in charge of Finance, Accounts and Fund Management of the organization and will be responsible for evolving & formulating policies related to finance & Accounts and implementation thereof. He/ She will report to CMD and shall be responsible for Financial Appraisals of Trade, Fund Management and Tax Matters, Preparation & Finalizations of Accounts and banking including Forex management. He/she shall liaise with financial institutions/bank, statutory auditors, CAG, Sales tax, Income Tax, Service tax departments etc.

 

Experience in international trading activities is desirable.

 

Chief General Manager (Personnel & Administration):

a)    The candidate should have experience in following areas:

 

  • Finance and Accounts work including Corporate & Financial Planning.
  • Assisting the management in implementing financial policies and procedures.
  • Administrative and establishment matters; Financial Appraisals of Trade, Trade Finance and Contract implementation;
  • Fund Management and Tax Matters; Finalizations of Accounts; Internal Audits, etc.

 

b)   The condition of minimum 12 years of experience will not be applicable to candidates presently working in the pay scale of ` 43,200-66,000 (IDA) or its equivalent CDA scale of pay in any CPSE. c)    The post of GM (Finance) is a senior level position and the incumbent will be responsible for various Finance and Account matters of the company and support head of department in such matters. The post requires high level of managerial capability, initiative, integrity, result orientation, excellent communication skills, analytical ability, etc.

General Manager (Marketing):

  • Laws relating to contract, sale of goods, negotiable instruments, Carriage of goods.
  • Sufficient working experience in dealing with taxation laws such as value added tax, service tax, income tax and custom duties, etc.
  • Labour laws relating to industrial dispute/ Trade unions, payments of wages/ Gratuity and employment standing orders.
  • Laws relating to Appointment/ Retrenchment/ Termination and Disciplinary Proceedings.

  • Sufficient experience in guidance/supervision of junior level legal managers/ staff of legal department of any organization.
  • Consultation/ Briefing designated senior counsels/ ASGs in legal matters involving high stakes.
