Detail Of Punjab and Sind Bank Chief Customer Service Officer Recruitment:


Eligibility : The eligible person should be retired officer in the rank of Chief General Manager /General Manager/ Deputy General Manager of any scheduled commercial bank other than Punjab & Sind Bank. The eligible person should have necessary exposure in working of more than three areas of operations in banking such as general banking, credit, forex operations, treasury, government business, merchant banking, credit card operations etc. The appointment of Chief Customer Service Officer may be made initially for a period of 3 years subject to maximum age of 65 years. The contract shall be valid either from the date of appointment letter or from date of joining as mutually agreed. The contract can be terminated by either of the parties by giving one month’s clear notice.

CONTRACT AMOUNT (REMUNERATION): The contract amount shall be fixed at Rs. 60000/- per month, subject to deduction of taxes applicable.

OTHER FACILITIES CCSO shall be entitled for reimbursement of Telephone/Mobile bill. In case of travel on outstation duty eligible travelling & halting allowance shall be paid at par with Chief General Manager /General Manager/ Deputy General Manager, as the case may be, in our Bank.

LEAVE CCSO shall be eligible for a total of 12 days’ leave per year, out of which not more than 04 can be taken at a time. His working hours shall be the usual hours as applicable on all days except Sundays and holidays declared under N.I. Act. Balance of the unavailed leave shall not be allowed to be carried over to the next year.

LOCATION The office of the Chief Customer Service Officer shall be located at Head Office, Bank House, 21 Rajendra Place, New Delhi – 110008 with optimum infrastructure to work. Further, Bank may also utilize/depute him anywhere in the country where the Bank has its offices.

JOB PROFILE CCSO shall be reporting directly to the CMD / ED or MD & CEO of the Bank and shall be the focal point for Internal Grievance Redressal System in terms of Damodaran Committee recommendations so that a minimum number of complaints are escalated to Banking Ombudsman and minimize exigencies of Awards against the Bank. CCSO will help in strengthening customer confidence in the internal redressal mechanism


Selection Procedure For Punjab and Sind Bank – Chief Customer Service Officer Post:

Candidates can apply on or before 26/11/2015

The selection will be made on the basis of personal interaction/interview by a Committee consisting of CMD, ED & outside experts. After scrutiny of the applications received, only eligible candidates will be called for Personal Interview. The interview time & date for Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the Interview call letter. The candidates have to attend the interview at their own cost at Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank House, 21, Rajendra Place, New Delhi. No request for change of interview venue shall be entertained. The call letter will be sent by email only. The details of shortlisted candidates for Interview or any other process will be hosted on our website. However, the Bank reserves its right to change / add / cancel the selection process & schedule at its discretion, under unforeseen circumstances, if any. The Interview process will carry an aggregate of 100 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 50.00 marks. Final selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Interview process and will be according to the merit ranking.


How To Apply For Chief Customer Service Officer Vacancy in Punjab and Sind Bank:

Eligible applicants have to submit their applications in the given format (Annexure A). Last date for receipt of application is 26th November 2015. No applications shall be entertained beyond 26th November 2015. Incomplete applications will be rejected. APPLICATION FEE (NON-REFUNDABLE) Application fee is Rs.50 for SC/ST/OBC candidates and Rs. 500/- for General category candidates, payable by way of Demand Draft drawn on any Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of “Punjab & Sind Bank- CCSO Recruitment Project 2015-16” and payable at New Delhi.

Since, the number of vacancy is one, there is no reservation of SC/ST/OBC/PWD category. However, the eligible candidates belonging to these categories can also apply but they will not be eligible for any concession/ relaxation.

While applying for the post, the applicant should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned above and that the particulars furnished are correct in
all respects. In case it is detected at any stage of recruitment that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/false information or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will automatically stand cancelled. If any of the above shortcoming(s) is/are detected even after appointment, his/her contractual appointment is liable to be terminated without any notice.

criteria as prescribed in the advertisement would not bestow on him / her right to be
called for interview.

he terms & conditions of engagement is whole and simple governed by the provisions
of the contract and the engagement shall not be construed as an employment in the Bank
and the provisions of PF/Gratuity/Pension etc., shall not apply in this case.

Apart from the Contract Amount and other facilities mentioned above, the appointed
candidate is not entitled to any other Perquisites / Facilities etc.

The contract can be terminated by either of the parties by giving one month’s clear

Any resultant dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole
jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Delhi.
