Detail Of Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) Tax Advisor Recruitment:

SIDBI is the Principal Financial Institution set up under an Act of Parliament for promotion, financing and development of MSME sector in India and has recently celebrated Silver Jubilee year of its existence. Period of Retainership 6 Months from the date of approval of empanelment on Nonexclusive Retainership/ Assignment basis. The assignment can be terminated giving 1 month notice on either side. The assignment will come to an end automatically on completion of the retainership period, unless renewed. There shall be no obligation on the part of the Bank either to renew the retainership at the end of 6 Months or to issue a formal order of termination of retainership.

Scope of work To act as an advisor/consultant of SIDBI, handling activities related to taxation, Centralization of tax payments, including process development for filing returns, policy matters, tax audit, etc so as to optimize tax payouts and / or any other assignments as may be decided by the Bank from time to time.

Eligiblity Criteria Important: The Bank would reserve the right to raise/modify the eligibility criteria in educational qualification and minimum work experience in order to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Interview, commensurate with the number of posts.

Age limit The candidate should not be more than 65 years old as on January 06, 2016 (Born on or after 07-01-1951)

Educational Qualification Graduate / Post Graduate in any discipline from a recognized Indian / Foreign University/Institute.

Experience Minimum 12 years of experience in taxation [direct and indirect tax] having worked in Tax Department of PSU/Banks/FIs or Income Tax Department. The candidate should be well versed with provisions of TDS, Service Tax [ST] including ST under reverse charge. He should also be aware of the rules and regulations of CENVAT credit. Experience in carrying out automation process in Banks / FIs would be preferable.

Remuneration Remuneration in line with the best market rates applicable to similar jobs and shall be on the basis of per day visit to SIDBI Office in Mumbai (including conveyance expenses) subject to TDS but excluding service Tax , if any for the days of service availed by the Bank.


Selection Procedure For Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) – Tax Advisor Post:

Candidates can apply on or before  20/01/2016

Selection would be by way of personal interview to be held at Mumbai on January 29, 2016 before the Selection Committee. The Bank will undertake a preliminary screening of the applications for preparing, if necessary, a shortlist of eligible candidates to be called for interview. Thus, merely fulfilling the requirements laid down in the advertisement would not automatically entitle any candidate to be called for interview
