Selection Procedure :

Experience, Job Requirements, EMOLUMENTS AND SERVICE CONDITIONS, APPLICATION REGISTRATION, PAYMENT OF FEES – ONLINE MODE:, GUIDELINES FOR FILLING APPLICATION ARE AS UNDER

Experience (as on 01 June 2017): He / She should be an Officer with a minimum of five years’ of Commissioned Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force. Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers should have rendered at least five years continuous Military Service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or on account of physical disability or have been released on account of physical disability attributable to Military Service or on invalidment. Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers who have completed their initial period of assignment of five years of Military Service but whose assignment has been extended beyond five years and in whose case the Ministry of Defence issues certificates that they would be released on selection within three months from the date of receipt of offer of appointment, may submit a copy of this certificate along with the printed copy of online application for the post.
Job Requirements: He / She will be responsible for  Watch and Ward arrangements as to internal security, passages, entry and exit points, surveillance through CCTV, monitoring, recording etc. in the Bank’s Office Buildings, Protocol duties, Maintenance/Security of Bank’s properties and (iv)Control over the staff deployed for the purpose.
EMOLUMENTS AND SERVICE CONDITIONS: Pay Scale: Assistant Manager (P&SS) in Grade ‘A’: They will draw a starting basic pay of Rs.28,150/-p.m. in the scale of Rs.28,150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7) – 46600 -EB-1750 (4) – 53600-2000(1) – 55600 applicable to Officers in Grade ‘A’. They will also be eligible for Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Special Allowance and Grade Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 55,587/-.

Candidates to go to the Bank’s website www.nabard.org click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” under working with us/career notices/DR-Grade A (P & SS)  which will open a new screen.
To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details and Email-id. A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen.
Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. In case the candidate is unable to complete the application form in one go, he /she can save the data already entered by choosing “SAVE AND NEXT” tab.
Prior to submission of the online application candidates are advised to use the “SAVE AND NEXT” facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required.
Candidates are advised to carefully fill and verify the details filled in the online application themselves as no change will be possible after clicking the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON.
The name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates / Mark sheets as well as in the valid ID Proof brought for the examination.
Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature. Validate your details and Save your application by clicking the ‘Validate your details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button. Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”. Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.Click on the Preview Tab to preview and verify the entire application form before FINAL SUBMIT.
Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct. Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment. Click on ‘Submit’ button.
PAYMENT OF FEES – ONLINE MODE:

The application form is integrated with the payment gateway and the payment process can be completed by following the instructions. Payment can be made by using only Master / Visa / Rupay Debit or Credit Cards or Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash cards/Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen.
After submitting your payment information in the online application form, PLEASE WAIT FOR THE INTIMATION FROM THE SERVER. DO NOT PRESS BACK OR REFRESH BUTTON IN ORDER TO AVOID DOUBLE CHARGE.
On successful completion of the transaction, an e-Receipt will be generated. Non-generation of ‘E-Receipt’ indicates PAYMENT FAILURE. On failure of payment, Candidates are advised to login again using their Provisional Registration Number and Password and repeat the process of payment. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-Receipt and online Application Form.
Please note that if the same cannot be generated, online transaction may not have been successful. For Credit Card users: All charges are listed in Indian Rupee. GUIDELINES FOR FILLING APPLICATION ARE AS UNDER:

Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Online Exam) Objective Type: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) carrying 200 marks. Duration: 120 Minutes Composite Time i) Test of Reasoning – 20 marks ii) English Language – 40 marks iii) Computer Knowledge –20 marks iv) General Awareness – 20 marks v) Quantitative Aptitude – 20 marks
Phase II – Main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern.
Paper-I – General English: (Descriptive – online through key board) The paper will have descriptive questions carrying 100 marks. Duration: 1 ½ hrs The analytical and drafting abilities of the candidate shall be assessed through this Descriptive Paper on General English comprising essay writing, comprehension, report writing, paragraph writing & letter writing. Paper–II (MCQ): i) for posts as at (a) in Table I – Economic & Social Issues and Agriculture & Rural Development (with focus on Rural India) ii) for posts as at (b) to (n) in Table I : Paper on related discipline Duration: 1 ½ hrs. – 100 Marks
Phase III – Interview Applicants qualifying in the Phase-II Examination and securing sufficiently high rank in merit shall be short-listed for interview. Marks for Interview : 25 Marks

Economics : Bachelor’s Degree with Economics with 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants -45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Economics/Agriculture Economics with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants-45%) in aggregate from a recognized university. Candidates with Economics as one of the main subjects at all years/semesters of the course, will only be eligible. 
Agriculture: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants – 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Agriculture with a minimum of 50% marks (SC/ST/PWD applicants 45%) in aggregate. 
Agricultural Engineering: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University or Candidates having post graduate degree in Agricultural Engineering with 50% marks in aggregate after Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline will also be eligible 
Plantation and Horticulture :Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate or Post Graduate degree in Horticulture with a minimum of 50% marks (SC applicants 45%) in aggregate.
