Qualification in Details:No candidate shall be eligible to apply for the post of Senior Scale Stenographers unless he holds a degree Of Bachelor Of Arts or Bachelor of Science or equivalent thereto Of a recognized University and has proficiency in operation of Computers (Word Processing and Spread Sheets). Punjab and Haryana High Court recruitment 2017 Senior Scale Stenographer Selection Procedure

  • Interested and eligible candidates can apply before 27/6/2017.
  • Candidates shall be required to take down dictation at the speed of 100  w.p.m. in English Shorthand and to transcribe (word processing test) the same on the  computer at the speed Of 20 w.p.m. NO candidate shall be considered to have qualified  the test, if he/she commits more than 4% mistakes (of the dictated passage). Spread  sheet test shall be only qualifying nature, Of 10 marks and of 10 minutes duration. To  qualify spread sheet test, a candidate shall have to secure 40% or more i.e. 4 or more
    marks. Select list(s) of the qualified candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of  merit in the wordprocessing/transcription test.  The transcribed answer sheet will be evaluated by applying following

Punjab and Haryana High Court recruitment 2017 Stenographer Grade III Selection Procedure

  • The candidates will have to qualify the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription at the speed of 80 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively. The candidates, who qualify the said English Shorthand Test and its Transcription, will be called for Hindi Shorthand Test and its Transcription, which they will have to qualify at the speed of 35 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively and Computer Proficiency Test.
  • The candidates will have to qualify the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription at the speed of 80 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively. The candidates, who qualify the said English Shorthand Test and its Transcription, will be called for Hindi Shorthand Test and its Transcription, which they will have to qualify at the speed of 35 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively and Computer Proficiency Test.
  • The candidates will have to qualify the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription at the speed of 80 W.P.M. and 20 W.P.M. respectively.   • The said Hindi Shorthand Test and its Transcription on Computer as well as Computer Proficiency Test are mandatory but the same are of qualifying nature only and their marks or performance will not be counted towards final merit which will be based only upon the performance in the English Shorthand Test and its Transcription.
  • Thereafter, Select List of the qualified candidates will be prepared strictly on the basis of merit in the English Shorthand Test & its transcription. Name of eligible candidate (s) higher in merit would be recommended for appointment as per the number of vacancies to be filled.

Apply Procedure for Stenographer Grade III Punjab and Haryana High Court recruitment 2017

  • The online registration/filling of application forms by the applicants will consist of two steps. Registration Step I: Applicant will get his/her Registration ID and password and will print „Cash Deposit Receipt‟ for deposit of fee in the designated bank (State Bank of India). Thereafter, the applicant shall deposit the requisite fee in any branch of State Bank of India. Registration Step II: After completion of Registration Step 1, applicant shall thereafter fill the remaining particulars i.e. uploading of photograph/signature, qualification and fee payment details in the form, then to “LOCK & SUBMIT” the application form Pre-Requisites for Step I: Applicants are required to have a valid personal active E-mail ID as all the information regarding recruitment process will be sent on their recorded E-Mail ID throughout the process. In case an applicant does not have a valid personal E-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new E- mail ID before applying online and must maintain that E-mail account, throughout the selection process. Punjab and Haryana High Court is a common High Court for both the States of Punjab and Haryana and Union territory of Chandigarh, in India. It is situated at Chandigarh, the capital of the States of Punjab and Haryana. The approved Judge strength of this High Court is 68 consisting of 38 Permanent Judges and 30 Additional Judges including Chief Justice. Currently there are 46 Judges (including the Chief Justice) working at High Court.
